How do I get there?

Traveling to and in Surinam

Eight times a week KLM (3 x), Surinam Airlines (3 x) and Martinair (2 X ) fly to Paramaribo. Traveling to the interior of Surinam is possible by airplane, truck, bus, boat and korjaal (local wooden motor boat).

The flights to the interior will be carried out by small planes (4-18 persons).

Public transport in Surinam is not very reliable and quite infrequent. In and around the city of Paramaribo the bike is an excellent transportation tool.
You can rent a car, but please note that people drive at the left side of the road and you are required to show your international driving license.
